Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark with Marshmallow Swirl
3 ingredient holiday dessert that is incredibly easy to make and looks as festive as it tastes. Takes only a few minutes to throw together!
Ingredients
- 10 oz bag of dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
- 2-3 candy canes crushed
Instructions
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and crush candy canes. Add candy canes to a ziploc bag and smack with rolling pin or with bottom of a small skillet until crushed in various sizes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. This ensures it doesn’t burn. Alternatively, use the double boiler method for melting.
- Add marshmallow fluff to a measuring cup or microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 10 second increments (any more, and it will expand and overflow). Until melted and creamy like a frosting. About 30-40 seconds tototal.
- Pour melted chocolate over parchment & spread evenly. Drizzle fluff over the chocolate. This may be uneven and messy & that's okay. Use a toothpick or pointy knife to swirl the fluff through the chocolate. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over top of the bark.
- Freeze bark 15 minutes. Break up into varying shards. Keep in refrigerator before serving!
